Being a Vendor/Exhibitor and most likely a Horror Fan, Crypticon Houston will treat you like the VIPs that you are! Sell lots of merchandise, have fun and enjoy the Convention! Vendors/Exhibitors with 1 or 2 tables will receive two (2) VIP Vendor/Exhibitor Passes. Vendors/Exhibitors with 3 or more tables will receive Four (4) VIP Vendor/Exhibitor Passes. **All Access (All Weekend) to All Events, Movies and Q & A’s **Meet & Greet with Guests (location to be determined) **Crypticon Houston 2009 T-Shirt **Green Room (break area) access **Free admission to the Crypticon Houston 2009 Costume Party

Vendors/Exhibitors may purchase up to two (2) additional entry passes at a discount of fifty (50) percent off the price of a 3-day
Pass. This will be admission to the convention room only. If the discounted entry pass holder wishes to attend additional sessions at
the Event, a separate admission pass must be purchased. These additional passes must be purchased at the same time as your table(s)
through this form in order to receive any discounts. Contact Vendor Sales at CrypticonVendors@JDVEvents.net. A confirmation email will be sent upon purchase and receipt of full payment. A reminder will also be emailed three (3) to four (4)
weeks prior to convention weekend. All badges/passes will be available for pick up at the registration booth on Friday, October 16,
2009 between 12 Noon and 2:00 PM.
Please review the following rules and regulations
governing Crypticon Houston 2009:
1. Vendors/exhibitor will be permitted entry to set up from 12 noon to 4:00 PM on Friday, October 16, 2009.
2. No tables/spaces will be reserved by this application form alone. Exact table locations will be set by the CRYPTICON
HOUSTON 2009 HORROR CONVENTION. Please inform us if you are in need of wall space but keep in mind wall space
is limited. Full payment must be made and accompany the contract after agreeing to and completing this form. All
tables/spaces will be reserved on a First-Paid, First-Serve Basis (by postmark or date stamp).
3. All vendor/exhibitor tables/spaces must be manned at all times.
4. Vendor/exhibitor tables/spaces MUST remain intact throughout the hours of the convention and may not be dismantled prior
to the closing of the convention.
5. All exhibits and merchandise must remain within the designated space assigned to Vendor/Exhibitor, and all aisles must be
kept clear of obstructions from shelving, tables, partitions, merchandise, etc, as per Houston Fire Code.
6. Electricity will be provided to vendors free of charge, however, vendors must bring any extension cords or other
miscellaneous items required for your electrical needs. Reliant Center will charge you a rental fee if you ask them for cords,
power strips, etc.
7. If any vendor/exhibitor has special requirements including but not limited to large display racks, easels, stand-ups, etc, they
MUST be cleared by CRYPTICON HOUSTON staff at the time the tables/space is booked. Vendors/exhibitors may not
hang large banners in any areas of the convention except within their own vendor area.
8. All vendors/exhibitors agree to hold blameless Joie de Vivre Event Productions, Inc, CRYPTICON HOUSTON,
CRYPTICON HOUSTON 2009 HORROR CONVENTION, and Reliant Park/Reliant Center staff members, workers,
entities, employees and agents, against any loss, damage, theft, expenses, claims or actions arising from any personal or
property damage, loss or theft due to said vendors/exhibitors participation in the CRYPTICON HOUSTON 2009 HORROR
CONVENTION.
9. All vendors/exhibitors acknowledge that CRYPTICON HOUSTON, CRYPTICON HOUSTON 2009 HORROR
CONVENTION and RELIANT PARK/RELIANT CENTER staff members, workers, entities, employees and agents, will
NOT provide or maintain insurance coverage for vendors'/exhibitors' persons or property, and it is vendors'/exhibitors' sole
responsibility to obtain insurance covering such loss.
10. CRYPTICON HOUSTON in no way endorses any vendors'/exhibitors' merchandise, exhibits, views, beliefs, or actions. All
vendors/exhibitors are deemed to be their own business/entity and in no way reflect the view, beliefs, intentions and/or
direction of CRYPTICON HOUSTON. Vendors/exhibitors do not represent CRYPTICON HOUSTON in any way.
11. All merchandise bought or sold at the CRYPTICON HOUSTON 2009 HORROR CONVENTION is done strictly between
vendors/exhibitors and attendees/buyers. Joie de Vivre Event Productions, Inc., CRYPTICON HOUSTON, and
CRYPTICON HOUSTON 2009 HORROR CONVENTION are not party to or responsible in any way for any transactions
made between vendors/exhibitors and attendees/buyers.
12. No pornographic, illegal, stolen or copyright-infringed merchandise please. Violation of this may result in vendor being
asked to leave and there will be no refunds of vendor/exhibit table/space purchase.
13. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN ON ANY TABLES/SPACES PURCHASED. In the event the tables/spaces are resold, a
refund will be processed 30 days after the close of the convention.
14. As per Reliant Park/Reliant Center's Rules & Regulations, no decorations or signs shall be placed in or on facility walls,
floors and ceilings by nail, tacks, screws, wire or adhesive tape. Vendors'/Exhibitors' signs are restricted to the exhibit area
only. Painters tape may be used in place of items listed above. There are also restrictions on samples of food and drinks;
please inquire for further information. The use of helium or gas balloons, gases or compressed gasses may not be used. In the
event of the use of candles, open flames, pyrotechnics, compressed gasses and liquefied petroleum gases, permits must be
obtained.
15. All payments must accompany the Vendor Application in the form of cashier's check or money order payable to Joie de
Vivre Event Productions, Inc., or by credit card via PayPal (link found at Crypticon Houston).
